We recently opened up our workshop here in Cromane – about 10 minutes from Killorglin – look out for our signs along the way. Kingdom Glass provides a full glass cutting service to both the public and trade.
We now stock picture frame glass, greenhouse / horticultural glass, standard 4mm & 6mm glass, a variety of frosted glass and laminate safety glass – we can cut all of these while you wait. With new stock arriving each week we’ll now cut stove glass as well as mirror to size.
Lately we’ve noticed a demand for plastic cut to size and by the sheet – these include Perspex and Polycarbonate. We can cut or supply stock sheets in either of these in a variety of thicknesses and orders generally take 2 – 3 days to complete.
We can also cut mirrors, table tops and shelves to size – allow approx. 3 – 4 days for production on these.

Lime Green Splashback in Munster Joinery’s Canteen
We fitted this large splashback in Munster Joinery’s new canteen at their head office in Ballydesmond, Co. Cork. They picked a beautiful lime green colour which really brightened up the full room.

Kingdom Glass provide a full measuring and installation service – we cut out for any sockets, notches and light switches. Splashbacks not only look spectacular in place they are also very practical, easy to maintain & clean and are extremely durable (all of our splashbacks are made from toughened glass) All pieces slot together side by side so there is no need for onsite cutting and no need for messy grout lines that gather dirt. Fogged up Double Glazing Replacement Kerry
We fitted a lot of double glazed units this week in houses in Killorglin and South Kerry. Double Glazed units can fog up when the seal of the units breaks down. Fogged up double glazing not only looks bad but can lead to dampness or mould forming on the inside of your home.
We can take care of the full process – first is an initial site visit to measure up, we’ll then call again removing the fogged up unit and fitting a brand new unit – this process doesn’t take long and has no effect on the frames. We will take away all the fogged up units at no extra charge.
All double glazed units can be upgraded to energy rated glass – these have a better U value than standard double glazing and can save money on your home heating bill.

Custom made Shower and Mirror
We completed a large custom made shower enclosure and backlit mirror in this bathroom over the weekend. The shower doors are extra tall and make the most of the space while also fitting perfectly into the sloping ceiling. The large backlit mirror brings plenty of brightness over the twin sinks as it reflects the natural light from the window.

Vans new Signage

Custom sliding shower door
This is a good example of a custom made sliding shower door. The area here was too tight for a hinged door and a standard slider wasn’t tall enough. Our showers are fitted using 10mm toughened glass and are very easy to maintain as well as very stylish.
Glass Stairs
Here is a very good example of how glass can bring light as well as a really modern look to a standard wooden stairs and landing. We can install this style into a new stairs or into an existing stairs by removing the wooden spindles.
Recent project with splashback
We fitted this recently in a new kitchen. This kitchen has beautiful walnut and cream units and the red splashback brought warmth and brightness to the kitchen. We measure and install splashbacks all over Kerry.
